Precision TIG/MIG Fabrication Welder

Location: Sidney, OH

Employment Type: Full-Time | Manufacturing Environment

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

A day in this role

Picture your day beginning with a clear job packet and a stack of parts to transform. On the shop floor in Sidney, you’ll set up your weld station, verify your fixtures and templates, and move confidently from print to finished component. Whether you’re on the 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) or 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM), your focus is the same—precise welds, clean beads, and dependable output that meets spec the first time.

What you’ll do

• Set up each welding job and run it according to established production processes.
• Build parts from representative samples, templates, fixtures, blueprints, and routers.
• Conduct in-process inspections to verify accuracy and quality.
• Record production times and job details with accuracy.
• Move and stage raw materials and finished goods safely.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform basic maintenance and care on welding equipment.
• Operate a tow motor (forklift) as required.

What you bring

• 2+ years of welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• TIG experience preferred; MIG experience a plus.
• Ability to pass a written and hands-on weld test (H (2F) position with multiple weld sizes).
• Confidence reading and interpreting blueprints and welding prints.
• Experience operating, or ability to learn, tow motor/forklift operation.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
