Job Description

As a Game Developer specializing in frameworks, you will play a crucial role in the development of innovative AI agents, utilizing your expertise in industry-leading game frameworks. This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of interactive entertainment by leveraging your skills in MonoGame, libGDX, and Cocos2d-x. Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and optimize game scenarios using MonoGame, libGDX, and/or Cocos2d-x frameworks.
Collaborate with AI researchers to develop and refine environments for training advanced AI agents.
Translate gameplay requirements into scalable, reusable code components.
Debug and enhance existing codebases, ensuring quality, efficiency, and performance.
Document technical designs and workflows to facilitate knowledge transfer across the team.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and sharing expertise in game framework best practices.
Communicate progress and challenges effectively through strong written and verbal skills.

Qualifications:

Professional experience in game development with MonoGame, libGDX, or Cocos2d-x.
Strong programming skills in C#, C++, and Java, with adaptability to related languages and technologies.
Solid understanding of game architecture, optimization techniques, and cross-platform development.
Proven ability to collaborate in a remote, distributed team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in debugging complex systems and maintaining clean, efficient code.
Enthusiasm for utilizing game frameworks to support AI research initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on AI agent or machine learning projects within gaming or simulation contexts.
Familiarity with AI model training and reinforcement learning environments.
Contributions to open-source projects or gaming communities.

Work Terms:

Contract position with remote work flexibility.

Compensation:

Hourly pay ranges from $80 to $120.
