The Nuclear Construction Site Manager leads field execution for nuclear construction activities on major engineering, procurement and construction projects. This role is responsible for safe, compliant, and efficient site operations, including construction planning, subcontractor coordination, workface execution, schedule performance, quality adherence, and field leadership.
The Nuclear Construction Site Manager works closely with project management, engineering, procurement, quality, safety, commissioning, and subcontractor teams to ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with project requirements, nuclear quality standards, applicable U.S. regulations, and company procedures. The role is critical in driving field productivity, resolving execution issues, maintaining site discipline, and ensuring readiness for turnover and startup activities.
Bachelor's degree or master’s degree (or international equivalent) and 18+ years of relevant experience or 22+ years relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
Must be able to comply with the DOE’s regulation 10 CFR Part 810 citizenship requirements
Must be physically capable to participate in project walkdowns, which may require the following activities: extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, walking on elevated platforms, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing in or maneuvering around very small and/or confined spaces, and lifting up to 40lbs without assistance.
This project may have multiple work schedules that are subject to change and may require employees to work overtime, weekends and/or night shift when a business need arises.
