About the job

The Change Manager ensures projects achieve their objectives by increasing user adoption of new services, platforms, processes, or ways of working.

The role drives faster and more effective adoption, higher utilization, and greater proficiency among employees and contractors, ultimately maximizing benefit realization, value creation, ROI, and the achievement of desired outcomes.

What you will be doing

  • Execute the established Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategy using approved tools, processes, and structured methodologies; conducts change impact and readiness assessments, manages risks and anticipated resistance, and ensures all activities comply with quality, HSE, policies, procedures, and customer requirements
  • Support employees, contractors, frontline managers, and change champions through transitions by providing coaching, guidance, communication, and training support, while maintaining strong focus on the people side of change to increase user adoption and successful project outcomes
  • Act as a coach to senior leaders and directors to help them effectively fulfill the role of change sponsors and remain actively engaged throughout the project lifecycle
  • Integrate OCM deliverables into project plans, collaborates closely with project teams and other specialists (Project Managers, Department Managers, Team Leads, Service Transition, Communications, technical personnel), and drive a network of change agents across the business
  • Manage stakeholders by coordinating communication, evaluating user readiness, tracking and reporting issues, contributing to the definition of roles and organizational design, and continuously measuring success metrics and monitoring overall change progress
  • Support continuous improvement of Hydro’s OCM practices, procedures, and toolsets, promote awareness of OCM success stories within Hydro GBS and contributing Business Areas/Units, and perform additional tasks assigned by leadership that align with operational and legal requirements

What will make you successful?

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master/Bachelor/Vocational Degree
  • Change Management knowledge, certificate (preferably PROSCI) and/or experience
  • Fluent in English is mandatory. Any other language is a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in multinational, preferably in shared services or in PMO organisation
  • Experience and strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools, as well as familiarity with project management approaches and the full project lifecycle
  • Proven experience supporting or leading large‑scale organizational change initiatives

  • Ability to see through and understand organizational issues and challenges
  • Cultural sensitivity – the Change Manager in a multinational environment should be able to navigate and understand diverse cultural nuances that may influence the change adoption process
