Position: Accounting Clerk

Job Type: (Remote)

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for growth within our company.

Responsibilities:

- Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions

- Prepare and distribute invoices and statements

- Reconcile bank statements and other financial records

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

- Maintain accurate and organized financial records

- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing and payment inquiries

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting

- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent with some college coursework in accounting preferred

- Prior experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is a plus

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
