Position: Accounting Clerk

Job Summary:
As an Accounting Clerk you will be responsible for assisting the accounting department with various tasks related to financial transactions and record keeping. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record financial transactions such as accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
- Maintain and update financial records and reports
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
- Prepare and process invoices checks and other financial documents
- Handle inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to financial transactions
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
