Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
- Prepare and submit invoices to clients
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Monitor and track expenses and prepare expense reports
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing and payment inquiries
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (QuickBooks, etc.)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the real estate industry is a plus
